With the rise of the cloud and more and more paperless workplaces, an increasing number of American employees are pitching in on IT duties that aren’t a part of their official job duties.
In August 2018, NinjaRMM performed a survey of 500 workplace employees in the USA to study extra about how many individuals are performing IT duties that are not a part of their regular job description. Of the 500 respondents, the survey discovered that an alarming 32% of workplace employees spend at the very least eight hours a month on IT duties that are not a part of their regular job duties. These individuals are outlined as “involuntary IT managers” or IITM.
For MSPs, the chance is important. There are a lot of these IITMs throughout firm sizes and wage ranges, and 66% are all in favour of hiring a third-party IT contractor to assist tackle the tasks.
